Kids’ Ministries

We want every child to hear God’s Word and to know that they are a valuable part of the Westlake Church community. Each Sunday, we have in-person classes for children of all ages that are staffed by at least two screened volunteers.

Nursery – 36 months old:

The nursery opens 15 minutes before the worship service. Allow our volunteers to care for your infant or toddler while you worship or serve in ministry.

3 yrs old – 6th grade:

After checking in at the Kids’ Ministries Check-In Station, your child will sit with you in the Worship Center for a time of corporate singing of worship and praise songs. When dismissed, children will meet their teachers at the back of the Worship Center and follow them to their classroom for age-appropriate, Bible-based activities. At the end of the service, you will pick up your child from the classroom using the security tag received at check-in.

After many years of faithful leadership, our Kid's’ Ministry Director is refocusing on kids outreach and evangelism in our community. Do you love Jesus, and have a passion for helping kids to know Him? The Kids Ministry Director will prioritize building the faith of kids, helping them to grow spiritually. Through a committed team of high-level volunteers already in place, you will equip and encourage the discipleship of kids, and build connections with parents to strengthen our families.

From a total relaunch in 2021, we now serve over 20 kids each weekend. Westlake is a church with a great history, facility, and most importantly people who are actively transforming into a new chapter of life together. You will be an active leader in this process, with an opportunity to help shape, create, and implement the future, starting a part time, with the potential to grow to full time.
